Love

What is love? It is one of the most difficult questions for the mankind. Centuries have passed by, relationships have bloomed and so has love. But no one can give the proper definition of love. How can we define love?

Love is a sensation through the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual senses. Love is the eternal truth (शाश्वत सत्य) in the history of mankind. Love is patient, love is kind. It has no envy, nor it boasts itself and it is never proud. It rejoices over the evil and is the truth seeker. Love protects; preserves and hopes for the positive aspect of life.

Truthfully, what is the feeling you get when an attractive stranger gives you a pleasant smile unexpectedly? We all know love when we feel it. We all want to be loved. There is no denying it. It is like the dream of your matter of affection coming true. Defining what-is-love has been the work of various types of artists throughout time. Yet, it is still a mystery in many ways. It is a huge subject to explore. It is compassionate, romantic, generous, heart-felt, and funny and heals all things. It bonds two or more individuals and connects them in a unified link of trust, intimacy and interdependence.

The depth of love cannot be measured. Look at the relationship between a mother and a child. The mother loves the child unconditionally and it cannot be measured at all. A different dimension can be attained between any relationships with the magic of love.

In fact, or say scientifically it’s really not that ethereal or supernatural. On the contrary, it’s pretty practical and down-to-earth. Our hearts take cues from our senses. Everything we see, hear, taste, touch or smell teaches us about our universe. We don’t need to contemplate or ask questions. Our sensory organs report to our brains, and our brains interpret the data and send the report to our hearts. So, if we see a loving smile, hear loving words, or feel a loving touch, the brain processes this information and concludes, “Hey, we are being loved right now!” In short, when we are loved, there is tangible proof. It’s not an abstract thought or feeling, it’s concrete and evidenced.

To make things better in life is to always express our love to ourselves and to others, not just by saying words such as "I love you", but by showing your heart through actions. "Actions speak louder than words". Actions affect feelings, so simply waving a hand with a genuine smile affects one's feeling. Focus on the good things and minimize your energy on the bad things is part of the true-good-love process. Deeply appreciating another goodness can be easily experienced once love is better understood. Here are some benefits of what-is-love that are true and expressive:
  • You become more capable of embracing differences and discovering new things about people.
  • The more loving you are, the less need you have to meet the right person.
  • Being skilled at true love at many levels helps you figure out problems and issues in life and helps people understand each other better.
The key is to think about the long term successful relationship, not a short journey. We need to understand each other and must always remember that nobody is perfect.
Be together, share your joy and sorrow, understand each other, provide space to each other, but always be there for each other’s need. And surely love will blossom to strengthen your relationship with your matter of affection.

It can be a controversial and sensitive subject. The definition of love is still in its infancy. Your thoughts, experiences, suggestions will be a matter of pleasure.
